John Ceballos retiring

After 29 years working in the UC Berkeley Library (17 in the Art History/Classics Library) John Ceballos is retiring on Thursday, June 18, 2015. I know we will all miss John’s vast expertise, including searching the online catalogs, finding out-of-print material, and overseeing selection for Classics.

Please join me in congratulating John on his long career at The Library and wishing him a wonderful retirement!

Fine Arts Librarian

February, 2007

Richard Kuo-Pin Sun recently presented the Art History/Classics Library with a $50,000 endowment to support the purchase of materials in the field of photography. As the annual income grows over the years, this gift will have a significant impact on collection development for this area.

Mr. Sun has also selected and donated several important books (with a focus on photography) that have been added to UCB?s collections. To search for all of the titles, do a Quick Search in Pathfinder for ?Sun, Richard? and click on the “Notes” command.

Anyone with an interest in both photography and supporting collection development at UCB is welcome to contribute to this endowment.
